Probe Colors
You can configure Probe display and print colors in:
• the configuration file, msim.ini, and
• the Probe Options dialog box.
Editin

file
In the msim.ini file, you can control the following print and
display color settings:
• the colors that Probe uses to display traces
• the colors that Probe uses for the plot window foreground
and background
• the order that Probe uses colors to display traces
• the number of colors that Probe uses to display traces

Using MicroSim Text Editor (or any other text editor), open
the
msim.ini file.

Scroll to the [
PROBE DISPLAY COLORS] or
[
PROBE PRINTER COLORS] section of the file.

Add or modify a color entry. See Table 17-1 on page 17-7
for a description of color entries and their default values.
Valid item names include:
• BACKGROUND
• FOREGROUND
• TRACE_1
through TRACE_12

Colors for all items are specified
as
<item name>=<color>
. The item
names and what they represent
are listed in Table 17-1.
Here are the color names you
can specify:
